GETTING OTHERS INVOLVED WHEN CREATING YOUR PODCASTS
A podcast can be one of the most creative endeavors that you undertake. And you may not want to do it alone; as with all human activities, it becomes more enjoyable when you do it with the help of others who may have ideas that you could hardly conceive of. At the same time, though, when others become involved, there becomes more opportunity for conflict, which increases the more people there are. So here are a few questions to consider to make this venture go more smoothly:
(1) Whom do you want to work with you on this podcast, and why? Is it because he or she is more of an expert on a particular subject than you are? Is it because the podcast is on something of interest to both or all of you? Or is podcasting just something you all like to do?
(2) What will each person’s role be? Who will be responsible for making the final decision on what will go on the website? Who will be in marketing, logistics, and so on?
(3) If this is a business site, how will everyone share profits?
You can make money and make friends at the same time.
