What's New!
This Page will describe some of our newer projects and pieces. Recently, we added Sustainable Design Options to our glass, wood and plastic components. Also, some of the following pictures show new tops married to our bases, such as the red marble top. We are also introducing a recycled glass table top, available in seven standard glass colors and many custom variations. Depending on quantity, we can fabricate custom pieces and parts for many applications, such as furniture, marine and automotive applications, etc. Please call us directly at (310) 355-0400 for more information.
ADA Compliant Bathroom Handrail We recently cast this beautiful and benign handrail from a model designed by San Francisco architect Joel Karr. The version shown is 4 feet long. A 3 foot version is being designed as well. Why not add a bit of design to this neglected area.
This example is a 36 round red glass/cement table top with AZCASTs 5 Star Base. The glass came from recycled City of Berkeley Street lamps and the top/base is over 90% post consumer/post industrial materials. Virtually any size and shape top can be made and other configurations, such as counter tops, are available.
Bar Any available 5 foot corner can be converted into a bar with this versatile piece. The front is perforated aluminum (naturally) and the top can be glass, wood, upholstered leather, etc. It was designed to complement AZCAST barstools, but other, ordinary stools could be substituted.
Pick your favorite marble, granite or stone top and we will build you a base to show it off. The base, including apron, is all aluminum, with your choice of finish: highly polished, brushed satin and distressed stone. AZCAST's owner liked the piece so much he took it home.
Recycled and Recyclable Chair Believe it or not, this chair can be melted down and recycled. The metal came from recycled aluminum (perhaps some decommissioned aircraft) and the seat is recycled PET plastic (from milk cartons).
One of our plant workers, Nicolas Campos, was asked by his night school teacher if he could make desks for his ESL (English as a Second Language) Classroom. Here is the design AZCAST (with Nico's help) came up with.
Trade Show Display Furniture Famous Italian womens shirt manufacturer, Nara Camicie, commissioned AZCAST to make the furniture for their New York trade shows.
This table is fascinating to look at and look through, as the table core is a translucent honeycomb which we have cast in resin.
